Many players have complained about long matchmaking since the Xbox One first-person shooter’s launch earlier this week. I know this has been said ad -nauseum but the matchmaking system in Halo 4 is a huge joke for casual players such as myself. I apologize for my rant but with that being said, is there no way for someone like myself to ever find matches that are competitive, or am I doomed to play with people who have no lives outside of their Xbox s and simply cannot lose? If the answer to that question is no, then it’s really unfortunate that has put together such a terrible system for multiplayer where you either start at launch with the rest of the pack or your left in the dust with no hopes of ever catching up.
I’ve seriously had way more aggravation from this game than fun and I’m ready to throw the disc in the trash and never purchase another Halo game again. If you’re unhappy with not being good enough, get better. You get better with practice. If you aren’t going to practice or put the time in, then you’re not going to be as competitive as someone who does. You cannot maintain the same level of skill you once might have had without PLAYING and if you aren’t going to play as much, then you might have to accept the results you have at the moment.
The game does try to match you against similar opponents. If you were already carrying a high ‘skill’ on that account, the game will still see it that way.
